Sustainability Chats - Andrew Ericson & UW-La Crosse

Andrew at the Inspiring Sustainability Awards.

In our January Sustainability Chat, we were joined by Andrew Ericson, Sustainability Program Manager at UW-La Crosse, who shared his passion for promoting sustainability on campus and the work being done on UWL's campus.

In addition to his role at UW-La Crosse, Andrew Ericson is actively involved in the community, serving as a board member for the City of La Crosse’s MTU Board and as a member of the City’s Climate Action Plan Steering Committee. He also is the Treasurer for Drift Share, Inc.,

One of Andrew's focuses is active transportation -- encouraging students and the campus community to embrace more eco-friendly modes of travel. His commitment to sustainable action earned him the nomination and win of the individual 2024 Inspiring Sustainability Award, which recognizes his outstanding leadership in climate action and sustainability initiatives, especially his efforts to inspire sustainable behavior among students.
